Yet your message made impresion, that you call weaves "badly designed" (so to speak) on basis of matchmaking. Even though this past year has not been all clear sailing after a lackluster release of the expansion Winds of Magic in late 2019, developer Fatshark has made great strides in reorienting the future direction of their game, and there is a lot to look forward too. I even agree wtih you, that weaves are not replayable, that is my own criticism of that mode. Without a doubt, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is an outstanding sequel with a promising future. Just as balance of essencegain (and generally rewards in place for those labrats that want it). The whole progression system with the weaves is ♥♥♥♥. Seriously who wants to actually play on recruit. It gives no reason for players to return to weaves they have already completed. After playing for hundreds of hours I have no interest on playing anything lower than legend or releveling my stuff. They force you to go through all difficulties again which is an absolute snooze fest as well as having to unlock all weapons and skills previously unlocked. The fact that it is split into 100+ queues isn't the only reason WOM matchmaking sucks. You fail to understand why the matchmaking sucks if you think it isn't related to the design of the weaves. Just cause mathmaking system sucks there does not mean that mode itself is bad. You mixing up design of mode itself (to which person you quoted refer) and matchmaking system affilated with it. Which is why the devs are trying to address that with the season 2 update.
